About Me

My name is Ahmed Sultan and I study computing at Loreto College. I really enjoy learning about technology and coding. I like working with HTML, CSS, and Python, and I also enjoy designing app interfaces using Figma. At college I have worked on website projects, databases, and programming tasks which helped me understand how software and hardware work together. Outside of class I make my own small programs and design app screens, which has helped me practice problem solving and paying attention to details. I want to keep learning and building projects that are useful and look good.

Lawn Care Manager (Command-Line-Interface)
Built a command-line calculator in Python with a loop-based interface, calculating lawn care costs based on user inputs for lawn size, service type and even adds the VAT automatically.

Employee Wage Calculator (Command-Line-Interface)
Built a command-line calculator in Python, calculating employee wages based on Teddy bears made during their shifts. Also validating Staff's Name and their Security Number from the data dictionary provided

Work Experience

Wellington Convenience Store
Data Base Administrator (1 Month)

Managed and organized the store's inventory database, ensuring accurate records of stock levels and supplier information. Performed Data Migration by importing all stock data from old cash register system to new one. Assisted in training staff on using the new database system effectively.
